About our foodbank
Droitwich Spa Foodbank was launched in 2014 with the help of Churches Together in Droitwich Spa.
Our Foodbank project was founded in 2014 by local churches working together towards relieving hunger in Droitwich Spa and the surrounding area. In 2015 our Foodbank became a registered independent charity – a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. We have a core of about 50 volunteers who help regularly at the Foodbank Centre and at the Foodbank Warehouse. We have about another 20 volunteers who help from time to time, often in connection with supermarket collections. We are part of the Trussell Trust organisation and we work together with other Trussell Trust Foodbanks in the area.
